Meeting with the Azerbaijan delegation that would take part in the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games has been took place

The National Olympic Committee (NOC) has met with the Azerbaijan delegation that would take part in the 3rd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Ismayil Ismayilov, Secretary General of the NOC Agajan Abiyev, Deputy Secretary General of the NOK Azer Aliyev and representatives of the sports federations attended the meeting.
Speaking at the event, Chingiz Huseynzade informed about the team that would take part in the competition. He said that the Azerbaijan team finished the 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games in the 11th place with 8 medals (5 gold, 3 silver) and the 2nd Summer Olympic Games with 12 medals (5 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze) in the 10th position. Huseynzade wished success to the delegation.
Saki Valiyeva, representing Azerbaijan as a young ambassador, has made presentations about Argentina, Buenos Aires, Games, Olympic Village and places where the delegation would stay. She said that athletes from 206 countries are expected to participate in the Games and will compete in 32 kinds of sports.
Then Shafaq Huseynli, the Head of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (ANADA), informed the participants about the measures to be taken before the Games in the fight against doping in these Games.
The Azerbaijan Olympic team consists of 17 athletes (8 girls, 9 boys), 12 coaches and referees, head of delegation and the young ambassador. In addition, the delegation includes the representatives from the National Olympic Committee, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and some federations.

Weightlifters - Tamerkhan Babayev (85 kg) and Lala Rzazadeh (58 kg) 
Athletes - Rustam Mammadov and Fakhriya Tagizadeh.
