Official presentation to celebrate the "150 days remain" ceremony of the European Youth Olympic Festival "Baku 2019" "WE ARE PREPARE TO THE TOP"

The Operations Committee of the XV Summer European Youth Olympic Festival to be held in Baku on July 21-27, 2019, is proud to announce “Jirtdan” and “Leopard” as the official symbols of the European Youth Olympic Festival. 
“Jirtdan” is the little boy, the most famous hero of the Azerbaijan fairy tales. In spite of being too little than other children, Jirtdan is inspired by his courage and intelligence. 
The Caucasian leopard will promote the richness of Azerbaijan's beautiful nature. Caucasian leopard is one of the most well-known animals in the fauna of Azerbaijan. This animal is a symbol of natural beauty, power, fears and speed. 
As symbols of the nature and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan, the official symbols of the European Youth Olympic Festival reflect the glorious history and rich traditions of our beautiful country.
