“The Azerbaijan Day” has been held within the framework of the II European Games in Minsk.
It should be noted that within the framework of the II European Games, 15 kinds of sports would be competing for medals. Athletes will compete for 200 sets of medals. Eight kinds of sports will be classified as "Tokyo-2020" XXXII Summer Olympic Games. Boxing and judo races will be held at the European championships level. Azerbaijan will be represented by 82 athletes in "Minsk-2019".
More than 4,000 athletes, about 2,000 coaches and service staff are expected to visit the capital of Belarus during the Games. They will represent an official delegation of 50 European Olympic Committees. Competitions will be run by 650 international and 410 local referees.
