“Pakistan wants to benefit from the Azerbaijan's sporting experience”

This was said by Fehmida Mirza Ni, the Federal Minister for Interstate Coordination of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who visited our country and met today with Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov.

Welcoming the guest, Minister Azad Rahimov said that Pakistan was the first of the three states to recognize Azerbaijan's independence in 1991 and created the friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries that have been always developing.

Minister Azad Rahimov said that the Memorandum of Understanding to be signed would greatly support the development of sports between the two countries. At the same time, it was noted that during the visit to our country, Fehmida Mirza Ni received more information about Azerbaijan's sports infrastructure, including the Azerbaijan National Institute of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports, the National Gymnastics Arena, the Water Sports Palace and other sports facilities.

Speaking to the guest about the youth field, Azad Rahimov noted that Pakistani youth also actively participated in the essay contest "What do I know about Azerbaijan?", which has been held in various countries by the Ministry of Youth and Sport.
