Prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO have been discussed in Paris

The Minister of Youth and Sport of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov met with Nada Al-Nashif, Deputy Director General of the Organization for Social and Humanities at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
Azad Rahimov informed about the reforms in the field of youth and sports in Azerbaijan, achievements, as well as successful international sporting events and spoke about the commitments of our country in these areas.
The sides touched upon the cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO and exchanged views on the prospects of relations. Issues on the agenda of the seventh session of the Convention on Doping in Sport, which will start on October 30, and threats to implement the Convention, have been at the centre of discussions during the meeting. At the same time, the activities carried out within the framework of the CDS are also in the focus of attention.
Finally, discussions were held on youth policy implemented in Azerbaijan and cooperation in accordance with the strategic documents adopted in this area.
