Club of the Funny and Inventive (KVN)

The movement of Club of the 'Funny and Inventive' (KVN) revived in Azerbaijan

To continue the traditions of Club of the Funny and Inventive (KVN), for the first time in the KVN history the Azerbaijan Regional League competition was held in 2014, with the organizational support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The League brings together the new young KVN teams and creates for talented young people the opportunities of self-development, successful performance in the international KVN movement and adequate representation of Azerbaijan.

On May 14-17, 2014 the 1/8 final round of the first games of the League started. Along with the national, the foreign teams also participated in the games, 19 teams competed in total.

On November 8-12, 2014, in the final matches of the Azerbaijan KVN League among 9 teams the winners were determined as follows:

• 1st place - "Sparta" (Kazakhstan)
• 2nd place - "The Georgian team"
• 3rd place - "Chuck Norris" (Azerbaijan)

The young "Chuck Norris" team the performances of which gained the affection of both the jury and the audience, won the opportunity to participate along with the "Baku team" in the International KVN Championship held in Sochi in January 2015.
