"Graduate 2014" fair

To facilitate the employment of young specialists, the IX "Graduate 2014" fair was held on May 23, 2014 at the Azerbaijan State Economic University with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the fair, 97 enterprises and organizations presented 985 vacancies; about 3,000 graduates attended the event.

The purpose of the "Graduate" fair is to create close relationship between the education and production in the students preparation process, and render assistance to the students of higher education institutions and graduates in the resolution of the problem of employment.

The "Graduate" fairs are held at the Azerbaijan State Economic University since 2006. In the first fair 143 vacancies were presented, and in 2014, the total number of vacancies approached 1,000. In the "Graduate" fairs, the companies and organizations engaged in the finance, industry, tourism, transport, communications, health care, intellectual business and other fields which include both public and private agencies take part. In the job fairs conducted in the previous years, more than 4,000 seasonal and permanent jobs were presented.
